Romans 15:30 calls for prayer in a way that involves personal involvement. The scripture says: "join me in my struggle by praying to God for me." By praying for another, we joined them in their personal involvements and their efforts. I'm certain there are truths about prayer that we don't fully understand, at least I don't! I am sure that Pastor Shawn would like us to join him, as the teens embark upon their raft trip on the Umpqua River 16-19. And we can join the the Haiti Work and Witness trip without paying for the air fare. We can join others in their struggles and their joys through prayer.
