1 Kings 7:15-21 tells of pillars being made for the Temple that supported nothing. A pastor, Mike Hull, did some research into the translation of the names given to the pillars. He found that they could be translated to mean "Able" and "Willing". Those pillars were erected for the people to remember, as they entered the Temple, that God is both willing and able to meet their needs. As we approach the throne of grace in prayer, please remember that God is both able and willing.
